but i love the way it came out!
totally worth it & she did a great job :)
fact: i've had a serious music itch lately.
a tingly annoyance that benadryl simply cannot remedy.
was talking to a new friend at a bbq/wine party last night about how inspiration & creativity come in waves/seasons.
often times, you'll be on a kick and pump out project after project... whether it be music, photography, painting, writing, designing, etc.
it'll be like a well that keeps giving and you don't even have the energy or resources to contain the overflow.
such an amazing feeling.
but then other times, your once evergiving well will be completely dried out. dull. drab. bleh.
nothing inspires. life is monochrome.
fortunately, using photography as a creative outlet has sustained me in more ways than one during this season, and i'm so amazingly blessed to be able to do what i love.
it's my passion.
on the other hand, music has definitely been lacking, and it's something i really need to dive back into head first.
creativity aside--it's been my experience that playing on stage is a big stress reliever too.
and if you can muster up the distorted facial expressions while flexing your abs hard enough to squeal out those seemingly unattainable high falsetto/girly harmonies above high C, then it's a good calorie burner as well.
-or-
just sweating from embarrassment after failing to sing those high harmonies in key burns calories too.
luckily, we're flying out saturday morning to play a radio conference in the south somewhere.
bring on the sweet tea & stress relief.
this will be only one of the tiny handful of shows this summer...
guess you can't hide from a failing economy.
